FOURNIER, ALBERT JOSEPH - Albert Joseph Fournier “Peewee”, 55, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at The Moncton Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Albert and Hazel (Straton) Fournier. Peewee worked for the bottle exchange and enjoyed socializing with his family and many friends. Surviving are his sons, Sebastien Gaudet and Jacob Gaudet (Mikia); brothers and sisters, Theresa Steeves (Cecil), Rita White (Mike), Margaret Fournier (Paul), Gary Fournier (Natalie), Edith Hearn (Mike) and Ulysse Fournier (Natalie); many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Peewee was predeceased by his infant daughter, Sylvia Gaudet.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service for Peewee will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment to be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In Peewee’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
