Clarie Anderson, 82, of Sydney passed away July 25, 2014, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late James Cecil and Ada Isabel (Moffatt) Anderson.
He was a member of St. Andrew’s United Church and was active in the church serving on various committees.
Clarie is survived by his four children, daughters, Nancy (Ron Teed) Anderson, Riverview, N.B., Laurie (Bob MacKay) Anderson, Fredericton, N.B., Julie (Gordon) Marshall, Sydney, son Scott Anderson, Black Falds, Alta.; sister Marjorie MacLean, Sydney; brothers, Kent, Ross, (Arlene), Richard (Geneva), Andy, all of Sydney, 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister Bayne and a brother Harold.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at 10 a.m. in Sydney Memorial Chapel with Rev. Boyce Elliott officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
