December 12, 1925 - July 28, 2014. Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Monday, July 28, 2014. Freda Elizabeth English, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Leo (March 3, 2003) and infant son Leo Francis (March 3, 1955). Leaving to mourn her children Tom (Carm), Mary (Robert Corbett), Gerri (George Trainor), Patricia (Martin Burton), Sheila (John Coleman) and Kevin; grandchildren Colleen (Harry Awalt), Stacey (Dave McLean), Jackie (Glen Field), Nicole (Gary Parsons), Craig (Kim English), Gillian (Chris Harlick), Elizabeth (Ronnie Martin), Michael (Casey Dalton), Barry and Shawn; 7 great grandchildren Madison, Rebecca, Aaron, Paul, Carlee, Ella, Amelia and Katie. Also leaving to mourn her sisters Lillian Cramm and Gertrude Stockley; sister-in-law Lillian Pelley; special nieces Katie Ryan and Shirley Fournier; brother-in-law Walter English, as well as other nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff and friends at Karwood Retirement Home especially Suzanne, where she resided for the last 5 years. As per her request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
