MacNEILL, HAROLD "SONNY" - Harold "Sonny" MacNeill of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on July 29, 2014 at the age of 82. Born in Moncton, NB on January 1st, 1932, he was the son of the late Harold and Winnifred (Amon) MacNeill. Sonny is survived by his long-time companion Zita Preston; three children, Rebecca (Rae Jarvis) MacNeill-Robichaud, Maria (James) Thompson and Al (Andrea) MacNeill. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Maxwell, Katie, Sean, Spencer, two great-grandchildren Damond, Emma and his many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Sonny’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday August 1st, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Sonny’s memory may be made to Friends of The Moncton Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice.
