MacEWEN, MARGUERITE - The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, of Marguerite MacEwen, of Summerside, aged 75 years. Born in Apohaqui, NB, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Hazel (Crothers) McKnight. Survived by her four daughters Shelley (Brian) McAloney, Gloria (Brendan) McShane, Beth MacEwen (Michael Gallant) and Carol (Kent) MacFarlane; son-in-law Kevin Hughes; 14 grandchildren; her four brothers Gerald, Arthur, Gordon and Bill McKnight and their families; brother-in-law Stuart MacEwen; and by four step-children; 10 step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband Albert MacEwen; second husband Thomas Wells; and by her oldest daughter Wendy Hughes.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, where funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery.
