OUELLETTE, MARY JANE - Mary Jane (Smith) Ouellette, loving wife of Dwight Ouellette passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1935 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Walter and Jane (Laird) Osborne. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Sonny and Leonard Osborne. She is survived by her children Leonard Smith, John Smith, Todd Smith, Paulette Haines, Rose Breau (Kenneth), Karen Knight (Keith), Patricia Smith and Alexa and Josh Smith; step-sons Stephen Ouellette and David Ouellette (Robin); 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. A very special thank you to the staff of 3BN at the Saint John Regional Hospital for their dignified care they provided Mary during her stay. Also, thank you to Ivan and Bliss Court for their caring support.
In keeping with Mary Jane’s wishes there will be no visitations. A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception at Fundy Funeral Home.
