It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Pike Sr. announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories, children: Margaret, Elizabeth, Raymond, Mary, and Christopher; grandchildren: Jessica, Jody, Joshua, Janie and Jacob Roberts, Jordan and Tyler Pike, Matthew, Reneé and Julian Tapps, Melanie and Melissa Lawlor; great grandchildren: Ethan and Noah; his 2nd family, whom he spent many years with in Port Au Choix, Mr. & Mrs. Farrell; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Helen Anne Pike. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Parish in Benoit’s Cove. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
