ASPEN, ZELIA - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Zelia Mary Aspen (Cecil), daughter of the late Yvonne and Charles Daigle, which occurred peacefully on August 3, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Zelia is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John William Aspen of Saint John. Zelia is survived by her four sons; John (Shirley), David (Kim), Tommy (Geina) and Jamie (Tara) all of Saint John and one daughter; Tammy O’Brien (Dorn) of Quispamsis. Zelia will be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Six siblings; Edna, Theresa, Shirley and Jeanette, Jimmy and Leonard. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Doctors and Staff of the S.I.C.U of the Saint John Regional Hospital for all of the care they’ve provided Zelia and our family during her stay.
Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Visiting will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM. The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 7 at 11:00AM. Donations in memory of Zelia can be made towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
