Charles Price

PRICE, CHARLES NORMAN - It is with deep and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Norman Price on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. He was born in Priceville, NB on August 19, 1937 to Vida and Vincent Price. Charles retired in 1997 as a Fisheries Officer after having held many jobs throughout the years. He was an avid sports fan, fishing enthusiast and bingo player spending much treasured time among friends at St. Anthony’s Church Bingo. His favourite retreat was at Buttermilk Camp spending his time fishing, playing cards, joking and laughing with life-long friends. His greatest joy in life was his family and they were his number one priority. He is survived by his children, son Bob (Kelly) Petawawa; daughters Arvella (Mike) Edmonton, Karen (Billy), Tina (Neil) of Fredericton and the mother of his children Lottie. He will always be greatly missed by grandchildren Chad, Dawson, Michael, Tyler, Jeremy (Bridgette), Nathan (Catherine), Kyle and Chantal; great-grandchildren Willow, Meadow and “Papa” to Lexie and Sloan. He is also survived by sisters Jennie, Nancy, Wilma (Derrick), Marlena (Paul) and several nieces and nephews; aunts Jessie and Alma and uncle Claude. He was predeceased by his parents, daughters Janet and Becky; brother Vinny and nieces Heather, Bonnie, Nicole and brother-in-law Howard. The family would like to say a special “thank you” to the staff at the Dialysis Unit (DECH) for the extra special care and to Hanwell Special Care Home for taking such good care of Charles.
The family will receive condolences at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at which time a memorial service will take place at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel.
