Willett Mowry

MOWRY, WILLETT - Willett Phylis (Haines) Mowry passed away peacefully at the Hanwell Special Care Home in Hanwell, NB on Monday, August 4, 2014. Willett was born on July 22, 1928 in Dorn Ridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mae (Foster) and Sanford Haines and loving wife of the late Alphie Mowry (1991). Willett was a home maker to her family as well as working at the Lord Beaverbrook Hotel in the Housekeeping department. She also was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for 26 years with perfect attendance. Willett is survived by her six daughters: Alfreda Mersereau of Tracy, Juanita (Leo) Gaudet of Tracy, Georgina (Dale) Gaudet of Muzzerall Settlement, Heather (Joe) Stewart of Fredericton, Ella (Mark) McIntyre of Rusagonish, Nancy Pringle, one son Robert (Andrea) Mowry of Moncton, two sisters; Marjorie Mowry of Tracy, Rachel Brooks of Fredericton, her sister-in-law Margaret as well as 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by three sisters; Pearl Brewer, Lucy Morgan, Annie Haines, five Brothers; Alonzo, Lester, Vincent, Arthur, Wilber, one daughter in-law Lisa, an infant great-grandson Tony Luke her son-in-law Eric Mersereau and a sister-in-law Greta Haines.
Friends and family are invited to public visitations at the Tracy United Baptist Church in the Family Center on Wednesday, August 6 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral service will be held on August 7 at 2:00pm at the Tracy United Baptist Church in Tracy NB. Interment will take place at the Tracy Baptist Cemetery, Tracy, NB. For those who wish, donations can be made in memory of Willett to the Hanwell Special Care Home or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Sunbury Funeral Home.
