October 22, 1922 – July 31, 2014

Margaret Kitlar of Calgary Alberta fell asleep peacefully in the hospital and passed away at 8:37 p.m. on July 31, 2014 surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed, but we are comforted knowing she is at peace now. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Andrew Kitlar in 1996, and her son David Kitlar in 2002. Margaret is survived by her children, Don Kitlar (Dianne), Doug Kitlar (Denise), Carol Kinch (Joe), her grandchildren Christine, Michelle, Cheryl, Andrew, Laura, Nathan, Rachel, and Jonathon, and her great-grandchildren Braden, Levi and Dane, and Ava, her sisters Ann Bizier, Olga Spak and brother Peter Spak. Margaret was born in Mountain Road, Manitoba and as a young woman moved to Winnipeg, married and her first two children were born there. Then she moved to Moose Jaw where she had two more children and raised her family. After the loss of her husband, she relocated to Calgary to be closer to her family. Margaret enjoyed flowers, gardening and being outdoors, along with many crafts she created. She had a deep faith in Christ that she held to her last breath. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Parkview Funeral Chapel.
