Catherine "Louise" Mulholland

It is with great sadness that the family of Catherine “Louise” Mulholland (nee MacPhee) of St. Albert, Alberta, announces her passing on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at the age of 80 years, at the Sturgeon Community Hospital.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Chuck (Cindi), Allan, Ian (Barbara) and Colin, all of Alberta; grandchildren: Connor and Alexandra; siblings: Allan MacPhee, Patsy Joyce, Bernadette Ferguson, Ellen Jane MacPhee and Jean Morse, as well as many relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents: Gladys Ann (nee MacDonald) and Hugh MacPhee; siblings: Angus, Joe, Baby Allan, and Duncan MacPhee, Mary Doggett, Theresa La Bute, Mary C. Smith and Miriam Gross.
Louise MacPhee was born and raised in Prince Edward Island on the family farm in Canavoy. She moved to Montreal where she married John Mulholland. The family moved to Australia in 1968 and returned to Canada in 1972; eventually settling in St. Albert in 1973. Louise loved her children and grandchildren and invested her energy in ensuring they were always cared for. Her heart always belonged to her home in P.E.I.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 8, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa the Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, P.EI. Relatives, friends and neighbours are invited to a reception at the church, following the mass. Interment will take place at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Mt. Stewart, following the reception.
