The death occurred peacefully at Colville Manor in Souris on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 of Thelma Dixon, formerly of Fortune Bridge, age 91 years.
Beloved wife of the late George Dixon and much loved mother of Marcia Cairns (Harvey), Dianne Townshend and Barb MacNeill (Wendell). Grammie to Jonathan and Peter (Cairns), Lisa, Nathan and Mark (Townshend), Joshua and Jonah (MacNeill). Great-grandmother to Cecelia, Julian, Jaden, Donovan, Jake and Ronan. Survived by brothers, Everett and Bill, and sisters, Myrtle Clow, Gertie Collings, Joan Dixon and Shirley Clow.
Predeceased by brothers, Claude, Archie, Eldon, Grant; sister, Edith Clow; and son-in-law, Donald Townshend.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visitation hours on Thursday evening, August 7, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Bay Fortune United Church for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
