It is with heavy hearts that the family of Russo Christopher Payne announce his sudden passing on Monday, August 4th, 2014, at the age of 69 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Marie nee Nicolle, his 3 sons; Christopher (Theresa Hanton), Shawn (Sherry) & Kerry (Regina), his grandchildren; Carla, Tara, Russo, Adam, Scott, Sara, & Ethan, his brothers; Mike (Brenda), Joe (Marion), Elia, Walter (Joanne), Dwight, Elwood (Pam), & Howard (Karen), Russo was predeceased by his parents; Joseph & Annie Payne, & his brother; Gary Payne, his sister in law; Jean, also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Russo was the Owner of Harbor Seafood, in Rocky Hr, NL, which has operated for more than 30 years. Supporting the community giving to various organization's. known locally & internationally as a kind and generous, giving husband, father, grandfather, & brother. Known for his strong bold personality, kind & soft heart. A pillar of the community & will be missed by his loving family and a multitude of friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Matthews Anglican Church in Rocky Hr, NL, on Thursday, August 7th, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Friday, August 8th, 2014, at 2: pm with Rev: Canon Louise Richards officiating with the burial to follow at the Church cemetery in Rocky Hr, NL.
