Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, August 4, 2014, Graham Butt of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 93 years. Predeceased by daughter, Lillian on July 31, 2014; brothers, Clayton, Gordon and Josiah; sisters, Mildred and Mary Ann. Left to mourn, wife: Phyllis; three daughters: Glenda (Gerry) Trepanier, Mount Pearl, Donna (Glenn) Balsom, Clarenville and Debbie (Chris) Swyers, Logy Bay; one son: Paul (Marilyn), Clarenville; son-in-law: Donald Noel, Freshwater, Carbonear; eleven grandchildren: Aaron, Edward (Tracy), Tara (Trent), Christopher (Krista), Stephanie (Steve), Ryan, Becky, Mandy (Steve), Michael (Janet), Jennifer (Mark) and Erica; nine great-grandchildren: Gage, Xander, Samiah, Amara, Preston, Brandon, Dylan, Graham and Tyler; one step-great-granddaughter: Samantha; sisters-in-law: Sophie Snow, Freshwater, Carbonear and Dulcie Snow, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear. Rev. Linda Pike conducted the Funeral service on Thursday, August 7 from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear. Interment took place in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear.
