It is with sadness that we, the family of Thomas Ross Campbell announce his sudden passing In Fort McMurray Alberta on July 1, 2014 at the age of 47.
Ross was the son of the late John and Irene (Bourgeois) Campbell. Ross was a laborer and a member of local 92. He worked on many construction jobs in Alberta, B.C. and throughout Canada.
Ross was an all around great person; he had a magnificent personality and a huge following of friends. Having grown up on Carroll Street he had a lot of special friends with whom he spent some of the greatest times of his life. Always joking around and hanging out with Glenn, Dwight, Shaun, Camille and Henery. Although when called upon, Ross would be there to lend a helping hand. Ross was an accomplished singer and actor, in his high school years he had played many rolls and formed lifelong friendships. He will be missed by a great number of friends and family.
Ross is survived by brothers, Garth, Blair, Darrell and Keith; sisters, Lisa and Johnna.
Cremation has taken place. Ross has arrived home to his beloved home Cape Breton on Aug. 1, 2014. A funeral mass celebrating his life will take place on Monday, Aug. 11, at 10 a.m. in St. Anne’s Church. The interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
