The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, Charlottetown, on Friday, August 8, 2014, of Frances Stevenson, formerly of Fredericton, aged 98.
Frances was the wife of the late Miller Stevenson; mother of Helen Craswell, South Rustico, Allan (Evelyn), Meadowbank, Wesley (Jill), Meadowvale Community, Donald (Sharon), Toronto, Ontario, and Paul (Lorna), Charlottetown. She was the devoted grandmother of 18, great-grandmother of 34, and great-great-grandmother of two.
Besides her husband, Miller, Frances was predeceased by her parents, Willard and Annie (Murray) MacDowell; her three brothers, Leslie, Allan and Kenneth; and her son-in-law, Athol Craswell.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The funeral will be held at Sherwood Church of Christ, Lilac Avenue, on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment in Fredericton Cemetery.
