Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Monday, August 11, 2014, of Mrs. Eleanor Rose Gauthier (nee McGuigan) of Charlottetown, age 66 years.
Beloved wife of Paul and dear mother of Jody (Robert) Napier, Bernie (Rene) Gauthier, and Michael (Carolyn) Gauthier. Eleanor is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Harry “Apps” McGuigan (Eileen Cheverie), Bernadine (David) McGregor, Leonard “Barney” (Brenda) McGuigan, Judy (Gerry) Connick, Alan (Charmaine) McGuigan; brother-in-law, Ronald Smith; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and the Gauthier family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Grace (Hughes) McGuigan; sisters, Frances Dougan and Gaylene Smith.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral until Thursday, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 11 a.m Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. There will be no visiting hours by request.
