KAYE HOPKINS

CARD OF THANKS
"Kaye Hopkins"

The family of Kaye Hopkins has been deeply touched by the many acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy we received from wonderful family, friends and neighbours during our recent time of sorrow.
We are sincerely thankful to all of you who joined us in such large numbers at Holy Cross Church on a beautiful summer day to celebrate Kaye’s life at her farewell Mass. We would like to thank our beloved Father Jake for his warm presence and comforting words during Mass. To her grandsons Mitch and Brad for the delivery of Pat’s choice of readings, Lynn’s god-daughter Katherine for reading the intentions and nephews Ken, Brian and Dale who were the gift bearers, we are so grateful to each and every one of you. Mimi would have been so proud of her grandson Scott and his girl Justine, accompanied by organist and close family friend Sandra Matheson, for the memorable performance of her favourite songs that touched the hearts of all those present.
During her illness, both Kaye and her family were comforted by the tender care of her respiratory therapist Ken MacLeod, friend and family physician Dr. Sebastian, Dr. Anne Francis D’Intino and the wonderful nursing staff of the An Cala Palliative Care unit. We would also like to extend a special thanks to all for the thoughtfulness expressed to Kaye during her time in the hospital. It warmed her heart to know that she was loved by so many.
To Linda Campbell, the love and devotion you showed to your dear friend and her family can never be equaled. To all who supported us in so many ways, thank you for being there when we needed you most.

Cliff, Lynn & Joanne
