DORCAS, ETHEL JEAN - Ethel J. Dorcas of Harvey, NB passed away August 14, 2014 at Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, NB. Ethel was born at Harvey Station, NB in 1925, a daughter of the late Lorne and Mina Little. She was employed for many years at Briggs and Little Woolen Mill. Ethel was a devoted, caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother.She is survived by two daughters, Patsy LaKing (Andy), McAdam, NB and Sharon Vail (Wayne), Oromocto Lake, NB; a son, Gerald Dorcas (Margaret), Harvey, NB; a sister, Roxie Hood, Magaguadavic, NB; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Dorcas; sisters, Mabel Embleton, Tressa Vail, Sylvia Little and Elizabeth Little; brothers, Claude Little, Elwood Little and Amos Little.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. George Clark officiating. Interment at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
