Wilson, Gordon Neil – 61, Truro passed away August 14, 2014 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, he was the son of the late George Wilson. He worked for Crossley Carpets for over 30 years. He was an avid New York Ranger’s fan and collected a lot of hockey memorabilia. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, special mention to granddaughter, Ocean; special cousin, Robert “Bob” Wilson. He was involved in his neighborhood (Hollywood). He is survived by his wife, Joan Pearl (McInnis); sons, Gregory, Gordon, Michael; ten grandchildren; brother-in-law, Henry McInnis; uncles, Jim, Harry (Phyllis); one niece and one nephew; several cousins. He was predeceased by aunts, Freda Acker, Lillian Wilson and Barbara Wilson. A celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, August 19 from 6-8 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Private family interment at a later date.
