PAUL, Wesley Mervyn – 51, passed peacefully away at his home in Bedford, Nova Scotia, surrounded by family on February 18, 2010. Originally from San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, Wesley brought the Caribbean life to Canada reminding everyone to live, love and laugh. A lover of calypso, jazz and music in general, his passion to enjoy life and entertain shone through even on his last days. Wesley leaves behind to mourn his loving wife Wendy (Blair) and two his daughters: Stacey and Amy (with loving friend Jordan). Wesley is also survived by his parents, Mervyn “Bob” and Honor; his brothers: Dexter (Linda) and Lester (Diane) of Trinidad and his sister Jacqueline (Mark) of the Cayman Islands. He will also be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Anne (Malcolm) of Cape Breton; his father-in-law Norval (Andree); his sister-in-law Gail (Antonio) and his brother-in-law Fred (Suzanne) of Newfoundland. Wesley joins his late mother-in-law Eleanor Blair to watch over the hundreds of family and very special friends that he has touched over the years. These people know who they are and will forever have him in their hearts. Visitation will be held 2-5 p.m. Sunday in T.K. Barnard Funeral Home, 1216 Bedford Highway, Bedford. A service will be held at the All Saints Anglican Church 11 a.m. on Monday, February 22. Flowers are accepted as well as donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
