Past peacefully away in the presence of her family Gertrude Martina Tracey (nee Ryan) in her 89th year on August 15, 2014. Predeceased by her husband, Richard and infant daughter, Theresa. Leaving to mourn her children Maureen (Lorne), John (Frankie), Peter, Brian, Trudy, Stephen (Tammy) and Paula (Brian); eleven grandchildren Ryan, Ephraim, Andrew, Gregory, Jamal, Matthew, Connor, Katie, Nathan, Olivia and Natalee; sister Marie Maloney (Bill) and sisters-in-law Mary Ryan and Cecilia Tracey. Also cherished nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick's Parish, St. John's. Her kettle was always on for tea as she enjoyed having company at her kitchen table. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd on Monday and Tuesday 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Patrick's Parish on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations to St. Patrick's Parish or Holy Family Catholic Church, Southern Bay, Bonavista Bay.
