MASON, IMELDA M. - With heavy hearts we share that on August 16, 2014 at 11:20AM at the Saint John and Saint Stephen Nursing Home, we lost our favorite Lady Imelda M. Mason (nee Boucher) after nearly a three year stay at that Nursing Home. Imelda, born July 29, 1931, passed away at the age of 83 peacefully in her sleep with loved ones by her side. Imelda is predeceased by her first husband Robert B. Taylor and survived by her husband Eric G. Mason, son's Wayne (Bonnie), Peter (Christina), Robert (Beryl) and Jeffrey (Betty) Taylor and daughters Jennifer Taylor and Sandra (Dana) Macdougall, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also, survived by a beloved family of Bouchers and relatives from Bathurst, many of which are now residing in various points in Canada. Imelda was an accomplished Registered Nurse, graduated from Hotel-Dieu de Saint-Joseph, Bathurst, NB and practiced nursing in several locations including Montreal, Sussex and Saint John.
Memorial Service to be held August 21, at 12:00PM at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John New Brunswick for all wishing to attend. The world was a much better place with you Imelda (Mom) and we will treasure you always.
