(October 15, 1925 - August 18, 2014) - Passed away peacefully on August 18, 2014 at Hoyles- Escasoni Complex, James Angus Rose formerly of Small Point, CBN but had been a resident of Goulds for 74 years. Predeceased by his mother, Jessie Rose, and friends: Alexander and Althea Queen Ruby and Alex and Julia Rudy, and Stan Ruby. Leaving to mourn his extended families the Ruby family, Herb and Linda Spurrell, owners of Kelly's Personal Care Home where he resided for 16 years and staff, Marina, Linda, Renee, and Marlene, residents of the home and also friends Ken, Rod and Bob S. Visitations will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday August 19th, 2014 from 2 pm- 4 pm and 7 pm-9 pm. Funeral service will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home on Wednesday August 20th, 2014 at 10 am, burial to follow at St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery, Goulds. Angus enjoyed entertaining people by playing his harmonica and singing. Thank you to the staff of East 1 Escasoni for their care over the last four months.
