The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, August 18, 2014, of Mona Grace Turner, of the Stamper Residence, Charlottetown, and formerly of Mt. Dora, Florida, age 85.
Mona is survived by her sisters, Gertrude, Frances, Geraldine and Noreen; brother, Andy; sister-in-law, Helen Turner; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Eleanor, Tom, Mary, Joan, Jim and Rosa. She was the daughter of the late J. Edward Turner and Annie (Doyle) Turner.
Mona was a former member of the Sisters of Saint Martha and retired after a long and distinguished career as a registered nurse. She worked and taught in several locations throughout North and South America.
No visitation by personal request. The funeral will be held at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Hope River on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
