Catherine 'Kaye' MacLeod, 77 - Catalone/Baddeck

Catherine Edith 'Kaye' MacLeod, a resident of Alderwood Rest Home, Baddeck, formerly of Catalone, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014, at the Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck.
Born in Catalone, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret (MacCuish) Bishop.
Kaye was an elder and former treasurer of St. James Presbyterian Church, Catalone, as well as a member of the Ladies Aid Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Liberal Party. Kaye was formerly employed in the personnel office for Parks Canada at the Fortress Louisbourg.
Surviving are her loving husband, Allan; daughters, Alana (Stuart Quinn), South Bar, and Erna (Philip Boudreau), Catalone; son, Darren (Karen) and their children, her beloved grandchildren, Kai-lin, Ai-li, Mike and Lisa, all of Annapolis Royal. She is also survived by her close friends; cousin, Margie Cameron; sisters-in-law, Sarah Ann MacSween, Helen Bishop and Gloria MacLeod; numerous nieces and nephews and her many friends.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, Kaye was predeceased by her brother, Harold and twin brother, Edgar (in infancy).
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at St. James Presbyterian Church, Catalone, on Friday 2 p.m., with Pastor Kevin Richardson officiating. Interment in Loch End Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Alderwood Rest Home and the Victoria County Memorial Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.
