Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, August 18, 2014, Stanley Newman Avery of Ivany’s Cove, aged 67 years. Predeceased by baby sister Vera; parents Jemima and William Avery; sisters Irene Lush (Wallace) and Jane Randell (Noah). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Sharon of 38 years; daughters Lily and Stephanie; son Bradley; granddaughter Allison; sisters Florence (Neil Burt), Mildred (Lloyd Thompson), Margaret (late Albert Short) and Lily (late Calvin Little); brothers Gordon (Stella) and Clyde (Emily); aunt Mildred Butt; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville with interment at the United Cemetery, Hillview.
