After a brief battle with cancer, Nick passed away on Sunday August 17, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Montreal at the age of 77.
Loving brother of Kay, Sadie, Matilda, Robert (Jean) and Milfred; father of Lorie (Terry), Roger (Robyn); step-sons Raymond and Carlos; son-in-law Jimmy. Proud grandfather of Chantal (Tommy), Kevin, Valerie, Latona, Stacey, Corey, Tegan and Kyle and great-grandfather of Tyler. He also leaves behind many relatives and friends.
Nick was born in Mount William, Nova Scotia and cherished his trips back home. His family brought him so much joy and pride. He enjoyed road trips and the time spent with his good friends at Chez Normand. Nick will be fondly remembered for his fun-loving, kind-hearted nature, generosity and willingness to extend a helping hand.­
