Sept. 2, 1974 - Aug. 18, 2014. Passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at the HSC, Dermot James Reddy, a much loved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend in the presence of his mother, Teresita and his aunt Catherine. Predeceased by his father, Derm Reddy in Feb. 2006, his grandparents Thomas and Mary Reddy, his great-uncle Mark Cooper, his grandparents Bren and Louise Healy and his uncles Larry and Bro. Bren Healy. Celebrating his life are his mother, Teresita Reddy, nee Healy, and his brother, Joseph (Sylvie) the Reddy family - uncles Frank (Mary) and family, Gerry (Marie) and daughter Janet Kieley (Blair), The Healy Family - uncle Pat Healy (Ada) and family, aunts Elizabeth Olafsson (Hans) and family, Maureen Seward (Darroch) and family, Catherine Parnell (Mike) and family, Louise Moores (Ken) and family, Bernadette Stoyles (Bill) and family, Marilyn Healy. Left with fond and loving memories are dear friends Dorothy Ryall and family, Carl Ryall and family, Bob Young and family, and also a large circle of friends and extended family. Derm was employed at WHSCC for the past 15 years and dearly loved working there. He had many wonderful friends at work, especially Dion Goodyear and Gerry Welsh. Derm was an avid sports fan; he loved socializing with family and friends, a good joke, and could whirl around the dance floor with the best of them. Derm had a great sense of responsibility to family. He had a warm and loving disposition, his smile and gentle humour will be missed by all. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the HSC emergency, medical and cardiac units. Derm will be waking at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, Thursday, August 21st, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral mass to take place on Friday August 22nd, 2014, 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi church. Cremation to follow.
