KALICHUK, LEONARD "LEN" A. - Leonard "Len" A. Kalichuk, 81, of Lakeville, N.B. passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family and friends. As part of his volunteer service and ministry he worked in the Pastoral Care Dept. at the Moncton City Hospital for many years. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 37 years; Lisa Helen (Pelicos) of Lakeville, and his dearly loved children: his son, Matthew James Kalichuk and daughter, Gina T. Kalichuk. Len grew up in a loving family of 13 children. He is survived by his brothers: Walter, Alfred, Mervin; and sisters: Josephine and Ollie (Olga). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their children. He is predeceased by siblings: Adolph, Ann, Louis, Victoria, Rose, Zenia and Adeline. Len’s family is comforted in knowing that they will see him again, knowing he is in the safest place imaginable, in God’s loving memory, to be resurrected to live again when God’s will is done on earth as it is in heaven. (John 5:28,29; Matthew 6:10).
A Memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 668 Champlain St., Dieppe, New Brunswick. (Phone: 506-853-3006). Interment will follow at a later date.
