MOORE, BERTHA ELIZABETH (GULLISON) - The passing of Bertha Elizabeth (Gullison) Moore of Stanley, NB, wife of Camille Moore Sr. occurred on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Nashwaak Villa. Born on April 17, 1945 in Stanley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Hilda (Sands) Gullison. Bertha was a Registered Nurse at Campobello Lodge Nursing Home, Saint John Regional Hospital, Victoria General Hospital and the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church. In addition to her husband, Bertha is survived by her son, Camille Moore of Saint John, NB; son in law, John Porter of Campobello Island, NB; granddaughter, Emillie Jane Porter; sisters, Elsie Sands (William) of Stanley, NB and Valerie Golding (Reginald) of Gloucester, ON; brother, Bernard Gullison (Gail) of Stanley, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughters, Jane Porter and infant, Lori Ann; sister, Dorothy Dorcas; brothers, John, Walter and Ralph Gullison.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm. A Graveside Service will take place at Douglas Rural Cemetery on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 11am with The Venerable John T. Sharpe officiating.
