Passed peacefully away in her home on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Elizabeth Alice Smith, age 77 years. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Alice Hafey, sisters Theresa and Margaret, brothers Patrick, John and Robert. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 55 years William; sons Randy (Andrea), Rick (Pam), Tony (Cathy), Ken (Pauline) and Shawn (Susan); devoted daughter Sherry; grandchildren Amy, Kevin, Christopher, Stephen, Robert, Devon, Graciana, Shaun, Dominic and Charlet; great granddaughter Elizabeth; sisters Mary (Norbert Philpot), Bernice (Gary Power) and Barbara (Philip Tucker); brother David Hafey; sisters-in-law Jean Hafey and Joan Hafey and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
