Passed peacefully away on Aug 15, 2014 at Gander Hospital, Hayward Nelson Burry age 86, into the hands of his Lord and Saviour. Hayward is a native and lifetime resident of Glovertown, NL. Leaving to cherish a life of wonderful memories and blessings, his wife (‘his old trout’) of 61 years Emily (nee Calloway), his 3 children, Terry (Rae), Heather (Scott) and Verna (Munir), 4 Grandchildren Mark (Megan), Samantha (Jay), Jonathan and Benjamin.

Predeceased by his parents Nelson & Lucy Burry (nee Bragg), his siblings August, Onslo Stratton, Tom and by his Grandparents Levi & Maud Burry (nee Stroud), and Samuel & Mary Ann Bragg (nee Burry).

Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kiser for his compassionate bedside manners and the nursing staff of James Paton Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Service on Aug 19, 2014 at 2:30pm at the Salvation Army, Glovertown.
