MUISE, Camille Pierre – age 78, of Surette’s Island, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2014 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on April 1, 1936 in Surette’s Island, he was the eldest son of the late Leo and Georgine (Surette) Muise. Camille was a fisherman and carpenter. He is survived by daughters, Anita (Roy) Moulaison, Amirault’s Hill; Carmella (Allan) Surette, Amirault’s Hill; Lynn (Bill) Vollmer, Edmonton, Alberta; Karen (Gerald) MacDonald, Belleville; Roslyn Paulick, Canaan; son, Roland (Corinne), Saugus, Mass. Also surviving are sisters, Rose-Marie (Leonard) Surette, Claire (Charles) Campbell both of Surette’s Island; Ada (Clifford) Amirault, Yarmouth; Jeaninne Amirault, West Pubnico; brothers, Arnold (Adeline) of West Pubnico; Chester (Kay) and Earl (Simone) both of Surette’s Island. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Alan. Visitation took place from 7 to 9 on Tuesday, August 26 with prayers at 8 p.m., at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 27 at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, Surette’s Island, Father Maurice LeBlanc, CJM officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
