1929-2014. Passed peacefully away after a long illness at the Agnes Pratt Home at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Ruby and son Richard. Leaving to mourn his sons - Boyd (Donna), Frank, John (Mei), Kevin (Winnie) and daughter Marilyn (Roger), sister-in-law Nancy (Tom Bursey), best friends Carrie and Don Pope and special friends Agnes and Steve Cusick, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday, August 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 28th at 11 a.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in John's memory may be made to the Agnes Pratt Home.
