BROWNLOW, JOHN ELLIS - John E. Brownlow of Upper Hainesville, NB passed away August 25, 2014 at his home. John was born at Lower Hainesville, NB in 1939, a son of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Knox) Brownlow. Following his retirement from the Department of Transportation he enjoyed playing his guitar at the music nights in the community. He was also employed over the years as a guide with Lindsay’s Sporting Camps. He is survived by his children, Pam Brownlow (Billy), Tony Brownlow (Ann), Wally Brownlow (Tammy) and Ritchie Brownlow (Lynn); his grandchildren, Shayla, Kody, Dustin, Ryan, Brandon, Megan and Brooklyn; a great grandson, Colton; his sisters, Judy Daniels (Vince) and Angela Brownlow and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his wife Edna M (Morgan) Brownlow and a brother, Dean.
Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Edward Guiggey officiating. Interment will take place in the Central Hainesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Lindsay and John’s grandchildren.
