December 27, 1926 - August 25, 2014. It is with great sadness that the family of Bride Barron announce her passing on August 25th in her 87th year, at Placentia Health Care Centre. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Barron and parents Jane Pittman (Houlihan) and William Houlihan. Leaving to mourn, sons: Kenneth (Doreen), Raymond and Gary. Daughters: Doreen (Charlie), Anita (Alfred), Marie (Mike), Dolores (Jacob), Linda (Tom), Marilyn, and Rosalind (Cal). Also, leaving to mourn 20 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Step-sister Anne Tarrant. Brother-in-law Ambrose (Rose), sisters-in-laws Winnie, Florence (Gerry) and family friend Beth Taylor, and a large circle of nephews and nieces and friends and her cat Smokey. Resting at Mahers Funeral Home, Placentia, Wednesday 12:00 - 2:00 family and 2:00 - 9:00, Thursday 9:00 - 1:00. Service at Most Holy Rosary Parish Freshwater at 2:00 P.M. Burial at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery Southeast Placentia.
