Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Monday, August 25, 2014 of Gerry Bowes (nee Marchbank) of Charlottetown, age 69 years.
Beloved wife of Ian Bowes and loving mother of Sandra, Jeffrey (Lisa McLellan) and Colleen Bowes. Gerry is also survived by grandchildren - Ryan Bruce and Braeden and Carter Bowes; siblings - Marion Hole (Fred), Marguerite Wood (Tom), Melvin "Junior" Marchbank (Linda), Vernie Marchbank (Gail), Gary, Carol Warkentin (John-deceased), Susan Abourisk (George), Chris Marchbank (Margaret) Debbie Loosdrecht (John) and Hubert Marchbank (Joyce).
She was predeceased by her parents - Melvin and Barbara Marchbank; sister in infancy - Cathy Marchbank; and brother - Douglas Marchbank.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Thursday, August 28, 5-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 29, at St. Dunstan's Basilica at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
