Ivany, Mary Elizabeth (nee Noseworthy) age 84, passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, St. John's on August 25th 2014. Predeceased by infant son Derrick, parents Augustus and Annie Noseworthy; granddaughter Amanda, brothers Gerald, Kevin, James and sister Beth Lewis, and Mary's children's father Henry Raymond Ivany. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: Ray of Lower Sackville, NS; Garry (Sylvia) of Gander; Cheryl (Chris) Power of Lower Sackville, NS; and Paul of St. John's; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Eileen (Ron) Costello of Wabush, brothers Gus of Eastport and Harry (Ruby) of Wabush ; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank- you to Josephine for her compassion and support shown to mom over the years. Also the family wish to extend special thanks for the wonderful care provided by the staff of Escasoni. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander with visitations Thursday August 28th from 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Gander on Friday August 29th at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
