It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest son and brother, Cameron Keith MacDonald.
Born in New Glasgow, November 28th, 1988 and passed away suddenly Sunday, August 24th, 2014.
Cameron will always and forever be in the loving and caring hearts of his mother, Mary Anne LeBlanc, Caribou Island, step-father, Milton MacLeod, Durham and father Cameron MacDonald (CeCe), Alberta.
Cameron excelled at pool, hockey, darts and washer toss and was very competitive. His sister Kathleen will remember her loving big brother for his gifts of strength and love to her. Cameron was also a great friend and was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to know and spend time with him. His countless number of cousins and friends whom he loved like brothers and sisters will never forget his witty and smiling spirit. The cherished memories of Cameron will never fade and will always be remembered by his maternal grandparents Walter and Eileen LeBlanc, Pictou; aunts: Carolyn (Richard); Dawn (Allan); Denise (Blake); Terri (Skip); Heather; Janet (Jay) all of Pictou; JoHanna (Dan) Halifax; uncles: Tom (Dee), Hopewell; Michael; Walter; Johnny (Nancy); Travis (Nadine), Aaron (MaryAnn), all from Pictou; Johnathon, Ontario; and Victor, Mexico. Cameron will also be sadly missed by his girlfriend Danielle DeCoste.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Cameron and Clara MacDonald; aunt Blaise (God Mother) and uncle Rick.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Cremation will then take place. Funeral mass will take place Friday, August 29th at 11 a.m. from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou with Father Tom MacNeil officiating. Burial will be in the Seaview Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall.
