MAXWELL, FRANK - Frank Maxwell of Moncton passed away peacefully at Veterans’ Health Centre on August 28, 2014 at the age of 95. orn in Midgic, NB, July 11, 1919, he was the son of the late Welthy and Laura Maxwell. He was a veteran of World War II and was a volunteer for every poppy campaign since he joined the legion 55 years ago. Frank is survived by his sons; Frank Maxwell, John (Deloris Thatcher) Maxwell, Peter (Amanda Price) Maxwell, daughter Heather Ripley, brothers Ronnie (Dodie) Maxwell and Irving (Ruth) Maxwell. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents and some of his siblings, Frank was predeceased by his wife Margaret, and his daughters Nancy and Peggy.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 11:00am to 11:45am. A Legion Service and Memorial Service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Sunday following the visitation at 12:00pm. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
