SELLS: Vivian Joan (Mitchell) passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 78, August 24, 2014, at the Cypress Regional Hospital. She was born on April 25, 1936 to Charles and Nellie Schwarz in Port Alberni, B.C. She is survived by her husband Gerry Sells; son Rick (Cheryl) Mitchell; three daughters, Arlene (Darcy) McGregor, Cheryl (Marty) Williams, and Kellie (Floyd) Mitchell; daughter-in-law Janet Mitchell; son-in-law Pete Dyck; 15 grandchildren along with their spouses; and 25 great grandchildren who she loved so dearly; sister Violet (Harold) Johnsgaard; two brothers, Wayne (Lila) Schwarz, and Dennis (Louise) McBurney; brother-in-law Gary (Bonnie) Duncan; father-in-law Bill Sells; two sisters-in-law, Lynn (Stan) Bozicnik, and Robin (Blake) McGregor; brother-in-law Ted (Wendy) Sells; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended half brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her husband Roger Mitchell; daughter Cindy Bartole; two sons, Ned Mitchell and Kenny Mitchell; father Charles Schwarz and mother Nellie (Elmer) McBurney; sister Judy Duncan; and she recently lost her sister-in-law Betty Ann Sells. Mom had a special gift for sewing, knitting, quilting and crocheting. She made sure her family never went cold with the special gifts of quilts, aftgans, sweaters and fuzzy blankets. She loved to keep licorice on hand for her special care workers who took such good care of her. She even had to make sure she had just the right birthday card for Rick Armstrong, who made sure she had every shelf she needed in her room. No funeral was held at her request. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gull Lake Van Inc. Fund, Box 539, Gull Lake, Saskatchewan S0N 1A0 in Vivian's memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.
