GAUVIN, MARIE AURISE (BABINEAU) - 1935 - 2014 - Marie Aurise Gauvin, 79, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, August 29, 2014. Born in Notre Dame, she was the daughter of the late Jude and Regine (Lirette) Babineau. In earlier years, Marie worked as a housekeeper and Nanny. She attended Notre Dame Du Grace Roman Catholic Church in Parkton. Marie will be deeply missed by her daughters, Theresa (Robert) Mosher, Marie-Anne (Bruno Gallant) Cormier and Rita (Late Gerry Morris) Gauvin, all of Moncton; sons, Anselme (Louise Boucher) Gauvin of Moncton and Leonard (Doreen Cormier) Gauvin of Sailsbury; sister, Gloria (Gerard) Bastrache of Notre Dame; brothers, Robert (Late Alice) Babineau of Moncton, Henri (Corinne) Babineau of Moncton and Raymond (Gloria) Babineau of Dieppe; grandchildren, Howard and John Mosher; Shirley, May, Jude and Samantha Gauvin; Tina, Kevin, and Jeffrey Cormier; Alfred Nott and Melissa Gauvin, many great-grandchildren and a special son-in-law, Leonard Cormier. In additon to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her Husband, Alfred A. Gauvin, daughter; Stella Cormier; sister, Aline Cormier; brother, Alyre Babineau; and grandson, Justin Gauvin.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview, NB (857-8564). Family and Friends are invited to visit at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Monday. The Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Grace Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, on Tuesday, September 02, 2014 at 11:00 am, Fr. Jean Guy Dallaire officiating.
Interment will take place in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Marie's memory made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www.tuttlefuneralhome.ca
