George Karn, 71, of Sydney passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Halifax, April 8, 1943, he was the son of Edna (Shubley) Karn and the late George Karn.
He was retired from the Armed Forces.
George is survived by his daughter Tanya (Pascal) Johanny, Hanwell, N.B.; sister Beth (Allan) LaRocque, Liverpool; grandsons Alex and Patrick,;nephews Christopher and Kevin; grandnephew Zachary and grandniece Jessica.
A family graveside service will take place at a later date.
