TRURO – Gregory Lawrence MacNeil, Truro, died peacefully at his home on September 3, 2014.
He was born to the late Roderick and Marie MacNeil of Frankville on March 29, 1947.
Greg is survived by his daughter, Laurel (Brad) O’Leary and step-grandson Sam, Calgary, Alberta; a son Jeffrey (Leah) and granddaughter Mylee, New Minas; and their mother Bonnie Fraser, New Glasgow.
Greg is also survived by siblings: Douglas (Barbara), Antigonish; Anne (Al) Walker, Pickering; Hilda Hinks, Burlington; David (Susan North), Musquodoboit Harbour; Gerard (Marie) Port Hastings; Patricia, Halifax; sister-in-law Jean, Antigonish; four Fraser brothers-in-law: Jim (Donna Langille), Tatamagouche; Bill (Janet), Antigonish; Colin (Mary), St. John; Paul (Sandra) Iqualuit; Wilf Monk, Hamilton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Bernie, brother-in-law Jimmy Hinks, sister-in-law Sharon Fraser.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at Greg’s request.
