It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilfred Harvey Park announce his passing at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. Johns on Thursday September 4, 2014 at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories Sons: George (Jeannie), and Albert (Gloria Childs); grandchildren: Nathan Park and Aleah Park; sister Lorna Sheppard (Howard); brothers: Ted (Debbie) Park, Kevin (Doreen) Park; nieces: Catherine (Doug) Companion, Laura (Paul) Tipple; nephews: Darrell Sheppard, Rodney (Kim) Sheppard, Stephen (Roxanne) Sheppard, Eddie (Stephanie) Park, Matthew (Keri) Park, and Danny; many great nieces and nephews and a large circle of acquaintances and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Lesley and Olive Park. Friends may visit the St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Saturday September 6, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. from where funeral service will take place on Sunday September 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. officiated by Reverend Nelson Chatman. Interment to follow at Church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made in Wilfred’s memory to the St. James Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
