BEAULIEU, MARIE ADELE - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, September 5, 2014, Mrs. Marie Adele Beaulieu of New Denmark passed away at the age of 83 years. She was the wife of the late Adolphe Beaulieu and had been a resident of the TLC Special Care Home of Sisson Ridge for the past year. Born at Drummond in 1930, she was a daughter of the late Francois and Leda (Pelletier) Moreau. Over the years, Mr. and Mrs. Beaulieu opened their home and their hearts to 52 foster children, nine of whom remained with the family for several years, along with nine children of their own.
She is survived by her children, Gisele Chappel (Steven) and Jacqueline Hebert (James) of Plaster Rock, Jocelyne (late Ronald Page) (late Regis Beaulieu) of Grand Falls, Roger (Isabelle) of Rothesay, Alyre (Denise), Gaetane Lagace (Roger) and Rejean (Pam) of Drummond, Pauline Robinson (Tom) of Barrie, Ontario and Michel (Jeanne d'Arc) of New Denmark, 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, three brothers, Guildor (Yvonne) of Grand Falls, Euclide (Adrienne) of Massachusetts and Jean-Guy (late Jocelyne) of Grand Falls, two sisters, Amelda Geraghty (Bill) of Massachusetts and Viola Bernier (late Antoine) of Grand Falls, several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by former daughters-in-law, Marie-Ange Page and Diane Morin and former son-in-law, Guy Page. She was predeceased by one sister, Ghislaine, four brothers, Archille, Claude, Donald and Ronald.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Her funeral service will be held Monday, September 8th at 11 a.m. from the St-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
