Marie Antoinette Robotka

ROBOTKA, MARY ANTOINETTE - Surrounded by her loving family, Marie Antoinette (Breau) Robotka passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1933 in Neguac, NB she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ludivine (Daigle) Breau. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ferenc Zsigmond Robotka; brother Edmond Breau; sisters Annette LaTulippe and Marielle Doiron. Antoinette was a Teacher for 40 years in the Saint John School District, teaching in several schools and retiring from Simonds Junior High School. She was a member of the CWL for 42 years, an avid parishioner of St. Joachim’s Church and belonged to the Club Arc-en-ciel. She loved crafts, especially any needle work, knitting, crocheting and hooked rugs, no project was too small. Antoinette enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she will live on in her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children Raymond Robotka and Kathy Dickson; grandchildren Adam Dickson (Jessica) and Maria Dickson; great-grandson Ethan; brother Alphonse Breau (Denyse); sisters Marieanna Brideau, Carmelle Savoie, Geralda Robichaud (Aldoria), Gratia Monette (Pierre) and Raymonde Cowan (Terry); several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of 3B South and the Dialysis Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital for their special care and support.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday, September 9 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 12 noon. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Antoinette may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Kidney Foundation, Parkinson’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
