RICHARD, ALPHÉE - 1920 - 2014 - Alphée Richard, 93, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, formerly of Saint-Norbert, NB, passed away on Sunday, September 7th, 2014, at his residence. Born in Saint-Norbert, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Adeline (née: Maillet) Richard. He is survived by one daughter, Gisele (Gervais) Cormier of Dieppe; two sons: Norbert (Sharon) of Moncton and Michel (Sheila) of Dartmouth, NS; one sister, Sr. Rita of Montreal, QC; one son-in-law, Joseph LaBelle; nine grandchildren: Martin, Nadine, Megan, Monique, Denis, Annie, Jennifer, Alexandre and Carolyne, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Alberta (née: Thibodeau) in 2001; one daughter, Jocelyne in 2013; one daughter-in-law, Ceri in 2011; five sisters: Celina, Hélène, Sr. Agnes, Sr. Priscille and Sr. Vitaline and also by four brothers: Gerard, Octave, Arthur and Luc.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Saturday from 9 am until time of service.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, Dieppe, NB, on Saturday, September 13th, 2014 at 11 am. Interment in Saint-Norbert Parish Cemetery, Saint-Norbert, NB. Donation to the Villa du Repos Inc. would be appreciated by the family. www.chartersville.com
